As the old potato planter did not work particularly well, we redesigned and prototyped a new single-row potato planter. This type of potato planter can be used with walk-behind tractor or cultivator. We have improved the following parts. 1. We have redesigned the pulling frame so that it can be better used with walking tractor or cultivator. 2. we have changed the position of the front ditch plough to make it easier to use. 3. We have moved the running wheels from the front to the rear and increased the thickness of the material used for the running wheels. The purpose of these improvements to allow a person to stand at the rear of the planter to increase the compaction of the seeded soil. 4. Replacement of the cultivating discs with cultivating ploughs for better cultivation. The above improvements take this potato planter from a not too good to a very good planter. In line with the principle of doing a good job, we are determined not to settle and to seriously do a good job on every product.
